Q49-I have migraine headaches.  Will enzymes help?

Some migraine headaches are cause by hormonal imbalances or a dysfunction in one of the endocrine glands.   The pituitary gland controls all the other endocrine glands by influencing their hormone output.  Eating enzyme-free foods will over-stimulate the pituitary gland, which could cause an over-secretion that will lead to a hormonal imbalance.  One of the causes for the headaches is over-secretion of one hormone causing the liver to react by destroying the over-abundant hormone to maintain hormonal imbalance.  However, many times this will lead to a headache.  Other migraine headaches could be caused from the toxins in the colon produced by poorly digested food. Eating raw foods or taking certain enzyme supplements has been beneficial to many sufferers of migraines for all the above reasons.
